Q-4 : I spend too much time doing the books!

A-4 : You need to focus on making money & working on your business – not reconciling bank accounts! Q-5 : What software do you support?

A-5 : Xero is the general accounting software that we recommend and we are experts in its usage. We also have experience in other standard accounting software.


Q-6 : I have a problem with my BAS. Can you help?

Q-7 : Your focus seems to be on business planning and strategy. Do you also help clients with marketing and strategy execution? 

A-7 : It would be our pleasure . Although our greatest expertise is in business strategy and planning, we also help clients with a wide variety of other issues. Q-8 : Why don’t you list more of your client’s name on your website? 

A-8 : Most of our clients insist on strict confidentiality, so we cannot divulge any information about them beyond their industry and a general description of the type of services we provided them.


Q-9 : What are your qualifications? 

A-9 : We’re all experienced accountants and our firm is a CPA practice and also we are licensed tax firm.


Q-10 : Under what circumstances does it make sense for us to hire you?

A-10 : We, Nexgen Accountants, can help almost any legitimate business, from start-up through middle market. However, there are specific industries and business types where we may not be the best fit. We will be happy to discuss your situation confidentially, and will immediately let you know whether or not we think we are a good fit for your business.


Q-11 : Where are you located, and how do you work with clients outside of your local area?

A-11 : We are situated in Mountain Creek, Queensland. If desired, we are always available to visit you at your offices or you can visit ours most times of the week. Yes, we do work as we are technologically advanced company, we can easily communicate and work through phone, internet and fax.


Q-12 : Will you sign a non-disclosure agreement? 

A-12 : Once we have determined that there is a good match between your needs and Nexgen accounting’s capabilities, we can send you a mutual non-disclosure agreement. This agreement protects both parties from disclosure of confidential information. And, if you become our client,  our standard contract provides ample protection that covers most circumstances.


Q-13 : How do you price your services? 

A-13 : Everything we do is tailored to each client’s individual situation. However, our focus is on delivering HIGH VALUE to clients, NOT low prices.In general, we charge a predetermined fixed fee. The fee is determined by many factors. Some of them are:

         * Scope of the project, in terms of the tasks and documents you require help with.

        * Complexity of your industry and business model.

        * Availability of industry information.

        * Sophistication and specific needs of your target audience.

        * Clarity of your vision for your business model, marketing and distribution strategy, financial plans, etc.


Q-14 : What happens after you have delivered the financial documents? 

A-14 : We remain available, at no extra charge, to answer follow-up questions, provide advice, and to make minor changes to the documents we produced for you.


Q-15 : Do we really need a business plan?

A-15 :  If you run a business, then it’s probably safe to say yes. In fact, you may require more than one business plan: one for raising capital and one for running your business.


Q-16 : Why should we hire a consultant to write our business plan instead of doing it ourselves?

A-16 : You could easily spend 500 hours or more preparing an investor-grade business plan, financial forecast, and investor presentation, even if you have an MBA. This is time you should probably be spending building your team, product, distribution channels, and customer base. In addition to our expertise in preparing these materials, we offer independent, third-party insights into your business, and may raise questions that you might not have thought to ask.
